Working in collaboration with Ryde Arts and Joe Plumb of Horsebox Theatre. Spirit of the Place is a performance piece which was forced to change direction as a result of the 2020 Covid-19 lock down.
Originally designed as a promenade performance, with the audience joining the performers on a walk down Union Street in Ryde, Isle of Wight, Spirit of the Place is now a a sonic performance, available to download on Ryde Arts website and listen to as you walk the performance route.
Rachel's role as the designer was to create 10 pieces of artwork to accompany each download, in keeping with the theatrical nature of the project, and to produce a downloadable, printable map of the performance route.
