The Sandylands Story Orchard is and immersive reading area installed in the Reception building of Sandylands Community Primary School. It is a versatile learning area where children can be taught as a group or perhaps go for a bit of quiet time with a book.

The space is designed to spark imagination. Tactile objects, hidden elements and a menagerie of woodland creatures encourage children to explore and create stories of their own.

The Story Orchard is an enchanting celebration of stories and storytelling. Using multi-sensory design children are transported into a magical woodland where they can read of times long ago and dream of lands far, far away.
